Previously this was a Little Chef. Now, an independent cafe. No idea why it is called what it is - would be interested to know or see that on the menu. I would describe it as a ‘Greasy Spoon’. Meant positively. A breakfast place that does burgers also. You can order a Builder’s cup of tea. Love it! The menu has the classic British breakfast menu with some additions of the Cowboy breakfast (steak, eggs, and chips), and some spicy chorizo dishes, spicy Avocado dishes and specials too - like haddock chowder. The service reminds me of a family waiting service. Friendly, welcoming and not too formal. Our dishes were hot, tasty, and as I expected. Recommended for a breakfast or brunch with friends and family. No airs and graces. Just good food, good service and at a good price.

First visit to this fine establishment today. The sun was shining and my tummy rumbled louder than the exhaust on the bike. Was sorted out by some lovely girls with smiles and amicability and a chef who mustered up a blinding Ham, Egg and Chips. A round of super soft bread and butter and a generous latte all for a sniff under fifteen sovs and I was back on the road with a smile on me boat race and an intention to visit again. Lovely gaff, clean, friendly and great food. What’s not too like

Been a while since we've had the chance to visit this wonderful establishment and we were not disappointed. Excellent menu, fabulous service from all the staff and delicious fresh meals. We promised ourselves not to leave it so long again to say hello to an old and trusted friend .

Stopped in at Billy’s on the Road and had such a great experience! The food was absolutely lovely, fresh, tasty, and just what we needed. A special shoutout to Fran, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. She really made us feel welcome and looked after. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

An easy five stars! Greeted by friendly staff, great system to take your order, get you seated or sort your takeaway. Very efficient and the 2 egg, 2 bacon and 1 sausage breakfast bap was lapped up by our son. My wife and I enjoyed a butter and jam croissant each (and so did our son for afters!). Beautifully fresh. And they weren’t joking with their Great Coffee sign - our cappuccinos and latte were excellent!... No wonder it was packed with couples, families and friendly bikers. Will definitely be back.

Just lovely. A* food and extremely welcoming. The breakfasts are fresh and wonderful, the "small" breakfast is big enough! Everything was extremely tasty. I missed out on the milkshake this time, but it did look really good!

Lovely cafe with a wide range of food. Staff really friendly and prices are reasonable. I had the big breakfast and it was hot and tasty. My wife had sourdough, poached eggs and avocado. We both enjoyed the breakfast. They do decaf coffee and oat milk. Lots of free parking. Well worth a visit.
